SomEV provides a wait-less charging network for Light Electric Vehicles, using swappable batteries paired with a smart battery swap kiosk. SomEV has developed a unique battery subscription service where the customer owns the vehicle, but leases the battery. All of SomEV's vehicles have swappable batteries. In 2021, the company will deploy its patent-pending Battery Swap Kiosk so that when riders are running low on charge, they can simply pull up to a kiosk and swap out their drained battery for a fully charged one in under two minutes.
