Suyana Climate Insurance

Suyana provides affordable insurance for businesses and farmers against droughts, floods, coastal hazards and extreme weather events using satellite data and AI models. We embed insurance within bank loans and other financial channels to scale adoption and address a vast underinsured market where 80% of climate losses remain uncovered. Suyana is backed by Halcyon Venture Partners, Side Door Ventures, Innventure, Imbolc Partners, Argentum Re, insurance experts and AI entrepreneurs and has received support from UNICEF, the IDB, Lloyd's Lab. Based in Boston and founded by two Harvard-trained economists, Suyana is reshaping climate insurance to tackle the adverse impacts of climate change.
