ZettaConn is developing next-generation thermal energy storage systems for utilities, data centers, and industrial facilities. Its technology stores electricity as high-temperature thermal energy and delivers it as dispatchable power or industrial heat. By firming renewable generation, reducing peak grid demand, and lowering interconnection requirements, ZettaConn helps customers deploy new capacity faster while improving energy reliability and reducing infrastructure costs. ZettaConn's solution converts electricity into stored thermal energy using electrically heated elements embedded within a high-temperature thermal storage medium. The stored energy can be retained for extended periods and discharged as industrial process heat or converted back into electricity when needed. Unlike many energy storage technologies, the system is built from abundant, domestically sourced materials and utilizes in-situ robotic construction methods that eliminate the need for large manufacturing facilities and complex supply chains.
